The book came in 3 downloadable PDF files and work perfect on my Kindle. The information had been good to have and it reviews and compares some older versions to the features of XE2. I could not find the same for XE3 so this has been a great purchase.

I bought these books as references for the Delphi Programming Language. I find the text hard to follow in this format. It's not easy to go back and forth in the same way as a printed book. I should have bought the print edition.

The best gardening book I've read

Ed's new book: Marijuana Grower's Handbook is the best. It has very detailed information on every aspect of growing cannabis. I like that the book is very linear and has sections like water and nutrients. It is very easy to pick out a chapter for study and then apply it to the garden. I just saw Ed yesterday at HempCon San Jose and he is one passionate guy. He rallied the troops for Prop. 19 and answered every garden question from the audience. What an enthusiastic guy. By the way, I purchased the book at a hydroponics store and the cover split right away. I was given a free copy that Ed autographed! Nice!
I also like that the book spends time on outdoor gardens. This is a vital part of gardening. Most cannabis schools don't spend any time on this and I think it's not fair. There are many outdoor growers and it's nice to know that Ed is there for us, too. I have had many questions on growing and this book is a great resource. The cannabis industry is changing rapidly and it's great to have a champion like Ed Rosenthal. Buy this book and you won't be disappointed.

A good start for beginners...

I had a copy of Jorge Cervantes' Marijuana Horticulture Medical Grow Bible, and the information in that book was a bit more detailed in terms of setting up a garden, understanding the needs of the plants, and even offers a section on genetics and breeding. Knowing how prominent Ed Rosenthal is as a grower, I was a bit disappointed at the content of the book. For example, there is an entire section dedicated to explaining how terpenoids, THC and THC-delta9 affect the brain, and how those effects are perceived. In that same section, it outlines the different isomeric structures of the THC molecule. When I moved on to find detailed information on the curing process, I found a basic two to three page section that barely describes one of the most important processes in producing medical cannabis. The section devotes more time to the expensive gadgets that are used to trim the flowers, and barely covers what the buds will do while curing. Personally, I think it would be a better investment to go with Jorge Cervantes' book and dvd.

ed finally did it, i have been reading his books for years, but finally an easy to read bible with all the stuff you need to grow sticky nugs. atmosphere, varieties, humidity, lighting. cloning, curing many different systems that all work, really a masterpiece.this is not a compilation of previous books, the ganja guru has started from scratch. this is by far the best yet on the subject. A MUST HAVE BOOK

In March of 1935 a government truck carried young J. R. Cash and his family from Cleveland County, Arkansas to their new home in Dyess, an agricultural resettlement community in Northeast Arkansas. Financed with federal dollars, the community existed to give struggling tenant farmers a chance to acquire a new home and farm land at reasonable rates. As the truck carried them farther and farther down muddy roads, the boy who grew up to become Johnny Cash remembered that sometimes his mother cried, sometimes she sang, and sometimes it was hard to tell the difference. The Cash children tried to sleep in the bed of the bouncing truck, but the tarpaulin used for cover did not protect them from frigid temperatures and freezing rain. What the Cash family discovered after their grueling journey, and what followed for them and families who joined them, is the story told here.

In reading Van Hawkins book, Plowing New Ground, which chronicles the struggles of the Southern Tenant Farmers' Union just down the road from the Dyess Colony in Tyronza, Arkansas, it became clear that to get a better understanding of just what was going on in this part of the world during the Depression years, A New Deal in Dyess: was the logical next place to look for those answers. Reading both in a short period of time has better informed me of the Farm Workers' Union movement spawned in a gas station, and social experiment laying the groundwork for affordable housing programs to come, but has also left me actively wondering "Why did these things evolve in the northeast corner of Arkansas, at that particular moment, versus any other poor part of the country?" I''m going to look for more Van Hawkins writings.

The first part is sharing his experience as an animal doctor and an autopsy doctor and his participation in numerous research and treatment projects around the world, being written with wit and great humor. Still the most valuable is the second part, which is a practical guide in treating both: ailments and serious illnesses with scientific approach and awareness of life processes in your own body. Highly recommended to everyone who is tired of putting one's life into the hands of inexperienced and narrow-minded doctors. This book helped me dramatically in treating on my own my serious health problems fast and without damage, as well as without creating new health problems in the process of this treatment. The second part: Lets Play Doctors is available as a seperate edition and can be used as a reference book on health issues for everyday use.

Intriguing information

What an eye opener! I will read and re-read but am definitely taking selenium to avoid Altzheimers and copper to avoid an aneurism every day! Dr. Wallach was a veterinarian first, was in research, and proceed to become a medical doctor. His reasoning is fascinating and the fact that some reviews say there is no medical foundation in his teachings is amusing. Of course there isn't! He's the first one to put it all together!

I think that Dr Wallach and Ma Lan are amazing. I am so impressed with what he has been through and he never gives up, he just learns from what has happened, regroups, gets better prepared and continues on to get his message across to people. It is really inspiring as well as educational and possibly life saving.
